Indeed, beautiful is the word! I don't have enough wide panoramic vision to eye all that candy! I'll say it again I envy your injector blade stash.

Wow! That is a first class stack of injectors. I haven't seen several of those blade brands. Which of those retain enough of an edge to provide a decent shave?
That is very cool seeing the various E models lined up like that.
Nice collection. Thnx for sharing.

:)You're welcome all. It's my pleasure. So which blades. Carbon steel vintage is a crap shoot. I've put some to felt and strop but not worth the effort. The Stainless, like the Marlin Firearms blades, are great The Swedes whether golden or not are superb. The Personna 74 is incredibly sharp, smooth and looooooooooooooong lasting. Ah but the supremest of the supreme are the Schick made in Holland (they have a 1H factory #) beyond the rest. They are so sharp and smooth that I've looked to make sure there was a blade. These I treasure. The + chrome and plats are real good also. And the Japanese Jacks from '03 (such youngins) are like the Dutch Schicks. Yeah that good.
So that being said let's call Schick and Personna and have them do a commemoration run of the great blades . Maybe they can be convinced that these blades can be made again and it's a great way to beat the other big"Camp" to the finish line. Don't they remember there's money in blades? lololol

Well they're not my cup of tea (Earl Grey btw) as I find them rougher and not as sharp as the current day Chicks. Beyond that it almost feels like a de blade and they feel almost light and not able to mow or buff. Then there's that hunk of junk loader. No need to go over it,it bites the big one.. All that said as I am aging the hair on my face is morphing into ,whiskers of Kevlar,So if a blade is ornery and doesn't smooth out well then I chuck it or use them as the sacrificial blade pushing blades.

What a great set! I have a similar "thing" for ball end Gillettes, although could rapidly develop that self-same "thing" for 1912s.

I use the Pella blades and I do find them to be somewhat tuggy and certainly rough, as you've suggested. However I have had access to only the Chinese schicks for comparison. Those blades were seemed smoother and were nice to use. Maybe because of the Pellas I turn to injectors rather infrequently I'm sorry to have strayed so much from your photos. Could somebody get a moderator please? If you felt like putting together a thread on blades in the blade forum that would be great. This is information I have rarely come across and which would be terrific to have access to for site visitors. Great stuff!

I will be ordering an usb microscope to get closer to the blades and coating, grind, etc. This is my next project and am very happy to do a thread for injector blades. Thank goodness for the net! Enjoy !---Alan
