G Does anybody know what the differences are in the varying Wilkinson Empire models? I have two, one with a fluted handle and a chunky adjustment knob, the other with a lighter knurled handle and a finer adjustment knob. Stropper.com has various E and W models some with screws and others with rivets, but I can't work out which is which, what the differences are or where they fit in the timeline. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Paul! From stropper.com the "E"s are earlier and chunkier, the "W"s later and daintier.

Chunkier fits my profile. I love any of the Sword razor products. Unfortunately, I have not the pleasure of owning one...yet.

Chunkier fits my profile. I love any of the Sword razor products. Unfortunately, I have not the pleasure of owning one...yet. They are certainly plentiful on ebay UK but prices vary wildly from as little as £5 up to £30 and beyond. A lot go unsold, as do unboxed ER 1912s, and the chunky Valet-like appearance of the Empire doesn't give any clues as to what an aggressive yet smooth and surprisingly manouverable shaver it is.
