I have been trying out my injector razors and having a grand time doing so. But I have noticed that the "Chick" blades that I've been using feel harsh and, perhaps, even to sharp for me.
I have tried Personna injector blades in the past and found them to work better for me. But they are getting harder to find and expensive when I do locate some.
Was searching Amazon today and noticed injector blades called Barber injector blades. Are these Personna's? Anybody try them out?
Also, found injector blades at Ted Pella's site. Are these also Personna's or
Appreciate your responses and thanks in advance
Now go enjoy those shaves.

I am not sure of the Amazon blades, but the blades on Ted Pella's site are Personna blades made in the USA for medical and science applications. I use both the SE and injector blades from his site and they are fantastic.

I am 99% certain that the Ted Pella blades are Personna. Here in the UK we have pretty much ONE source for both injector and single edge blades. I am sure he must source them from Ted Pella.
Personna seem to have cornered the current market in historical blades and so long as the medical world keeps using them, we'll have a steady flow.

And now Paul you can 100% as they are. I support free Microtome use. Also with Pella's, one needs to sign for the package. And it is that horror of a crappy loader. In modern blades my preference goes to Chicks. Good steel manufactured by Hitachi aka Hitachi White. I don't know where Personna gets its steel but it isn' Sandvik. Ah, another thing to find out. anybody want 74's? Dumb question right. The steel is available and there's a company in California that can grind and coat(PTFE) and temper. Very interesting, eh?

The Personna blades are very cheap from Connaught Shaving even though it is shipping from UK to USA. I wouldn't buy the Chicks because they are made in China and are much more expensive than the USA injector blades. The Personnas are very good and I have no problems with them.

I'm slowly working my way through the small stash of Personna injector blades that I accumulated through a group buy at B&B a few years ago, and some I picked up when CVS and other retail stores put them on clearance when Personna quit selling them at the retail level. Once they are gone I will never use Personna injector blades again, it will be Chicks or vintage Schick blades from then on out, even though they cost a little more.

Greetings
I personally like the Personna Injector blades, the point michaeld makes is a valid one I believe a blade can be too sharp, and for me, if they are, they make my face sore. I have several packets of vintage Schick blades that I have picked up and whilst some are a bit sharper and shave a little closer than the Personna's they do not give me such a comfortable shave.
Blades are such a personal thing that it really is a YMMV thing.
Regards Dick.
