So here's The Deb. And if anything says cheap, it's this one. But itis an interesting construction with a top plate secured by 2 rivets like an F.. I will let a friend of mine try it on her legs. She uses a G now and has used de forever, so she'll be a good judge.
Schick Deb, Deb : Deb Head , Deb, gear up Deb togrther

I have a Clemak, which I call a real piece of trash - it's so light, easily bent and made from such cheap metal, but it's a lovely razor. Cheap tat can still have a lot of appeal.

When I was a kid my Dad purchased my Mom one of these when he picked up his I2 Hydro-magic....He loved his, she tried hers but loved his aswell...But its funny...I still remember the night Dad brought both those razors home...He made a big deal out of how state of the art they were....and that Deb Fashion razor was truly unique...the Hydro-magic too for that matter. As a kid I thought they both rocked!! Come on! The Hydro-magic was gold and had that lever that dropped it's jaw, what 4 year old kid wouldn't flip for it and the Fashion razor....well I'd never seen a razor that looked like that before or since... So long story short....Mom swiped Dad's HM whenever she shaved til a couple years later when Pop copped Mom a Lady Eversharp practically the day they hit the stores and they both continued to get great shaves happily ever after....and the Deb ?....well she went into storage in a drawer in Mom & Dad's room not to be seen again...Sure is a super cool collectable...Today it looks retro-futuristic...Man seeing yours sure sparked some vivid memories...thanks...You inspired me so much, Today I grabbed a great shave with my Hydro-magic for memory's sake...thats one of the things I love so much about this hobby...Just seeing a razor or sniffing an after shave can be an instant time machine.....

Thanks for posting this. I heard of the Schick Debbie (or Deb?) I guess for debutante?
I didn't realize that that particular contraption was indeed the Deb razor. I handled one once but passed on picking it up. I recall it had very good/interesting packaging though.
Maybe one day your mom's Deb will show up for you Birdlives!

I helped my Mom and Dad move the last time, and I was like almost 30.....And going through some stuff I remember I saw, not this Deb, but the other one...The one Coolbus labled as the H2, but I've seen that one labled the H1.....Hmmmm....I asked Mom how it shaved, she said she never used it....I tossed it in the trash..... Anyway, it was the heavy duty gold and white Eversharp Fashion Razor....and she never used it, or maybe once...I thought he had gotten it for her when he copped his I2 but no....nIt seems my Pop got the razor for her when I was born and she didn't dig it....She always prefered to use Pop's razor and not tell him....It was a little game they played....rotflmao! You said, maybe my Mom's Deb will show up for me....Well a friend of mine just tried a great condition Type H, not the Deb, but the Gold one like my Mom's, and he swears its maybe the best injector he's ever tried.....Hmmmm....Mom's was practically NOS in the box, ahhh youth...They say ignorance is bliss and I have always been a pretty happy cat.... Well now across the street in the Den, alot of the cats are raving about these and calling them the most underated razor of all time....So I now have one on it's way, and we will get to the bottom of this shortly.....And see if the Eversharp Fashion Razor is in fact, the ultimate travel-jector and monster shaver or not!
