Congratulations, Alan, I guess this make two E1s for you. I wish I could find one. I don't know how you do it.

Blade King? No more like Schick King! I won't even bother trying to match your collection that's impossible!

@ Steve-- well the count is 3 right now. As to how, read my forth coming book(just kiddin') but my formula is simple. If I want something I go for it. That's it in a nutshell. As A.J. Foyt put it--" you can't beat cubic inches and rectangular dollars!". The E-1's:
E-1 , more E-1 , and this
It's like fishing, patience. It will happen.
@ Joe--nah, I like SchickHead.

What I want to know.....The early E2s are probably my favorite shavers when all is said and done....BUT I have never been in the same room with an E1.... How do these two razors compare.....I know Schick only made the E1 for like a few months and then changed to the E2.....Why do you think they did that? Could they have felt the E2 was an improvement? I wouldn't think the curled spring would be cheaper to make...... What do you guys think.....and coolbus18 ..if you can hear me......whats your opinion on these questions....?
