I know a guy on another forum that has refurbished a few Ever Ready brushes and I believe he said the knot was somewhere in the 23-25mm range. You could contact Rudy Vey, he has restore a few of them.

I have ordered all of mine from The Golden Nib. So far I've been happy with everything. I've used several grades of hair, and they're all different, but good. The "Super Silvertip" dries a bit clumpy and gets a little crunchy feeling if not dried at least a little after shaking the water out. Everything is nice and soft again when wetting for the next use. (I don't mind it, but some folks seem to have gotten upset about a similar thing happening to production brushes lately.) My short loft Silvertip feels very prickly and skritchy, but still nice. I think my favorite is the Finest Badger with Extra Hair (listed as "XH"). In fact, the 200 I have has a black top and green bottom and I think it's going to get the Finest XH treatment. It's also going to get the sand and epoxy mix in the handle for added weight.

Fuzzy,
I did not refurb my ER 200. The original boar know was in too gooda shape to do that. In fact I use the thing on a regular basis when lathering with soap.
Dave was the one who had a refurbed version of this brush.
As far as refurb knots I have had several brushes refurbed by Rodd from over at TSD and he uses TGN knots. Have had great success with them and really have found not problems with them at all.

The boar knot in it is still useable, but I think i might replace it. Thanks Andy for the info. Not sure if I want to increase the weight. Will have to think about it.

Here's my ER 200T with original knot. I like it a lot, it holds a ton of lather.

That looks completely different from my 200. Does the T denote a travel brush?

I have no idea what the letters on most of the ER brushes mean, I thought maybe it meant turqouise. I have a C40, no idea what the C is for. I do have a 250PB that I'm guessing means pure badger, that's what it says on the bottom.

I have a 650PB. I agree with the pure badger.

I have a ER 1001L, I think the "L" stands for "Look-through" since it's clear I don't know. Some of the letters, like "PB", seem to mean something. Others are harder to figure out. I have a couple of 200T brushes that are half black. I also have two ER 100 brushes that have nothing in common except the knot size, no letters to designate any design or color. The mystery does make it fun though
