I have a Clemak too, Paul has remarked that it is poorly made, which it is compared with other SE offerings from ER/Gem/Star.
Does provide an interesting shave, but not in my rotation. Must give it another go,as I am a bit more experienced now.
My ER white clam shell case,is hinged at the opposite end-and houses a !912.

I joked it was a right piece of trash ... but yes, it is made out of a light metal and not quite finished like others of the day. It did give a good shave, though. 1930s, I think. The Ever Ready is a Streamline razor in what we call a clamshell case. I've seen that case with both 1912s and Micromatic Open Combs in ... I don't see why it would not have housed a Streamline in its day. I'm actually not sure myself ... again, 1930s, I think; perhaps a 1950s throwback. The 7 O'Clock is a smashing razor. Circa 1912. It will take a de-spined GEM blade so long as a little extra work is done on the razor to crack off part of the sides. I really like mine. As for the others, I've not seen them before but a cursory glance suggests that they would take proprietary blades which would make using them difficult, unless modern blades can be hacked to fit. Of the bunch, the Ever Ready is probably of most interest, followed by the 7 O'Clock and then the rest.

I've wanted a "Flying Man" for a long time, I consider it a challenge to mod that little treasure!

You could play super-hero razor wars! Superman meets Flying Man vs the Wilkinson Sword Empire and the Rolls Razor Imperial (Guard)!
