Having just started to use Injectors, I obviously needed blades. I started off with Personna available in UK from Connaughts. These are very reasonably priced.
However, realising that in some cases Personna does not work well , I decided to get some Schicks . Not realising how much price variation there is in the market , I ordered some which worked out at Just Under £7 per pack of 7.
After my initial purchase , I did check out some sites which appeared to have a cheap price & Free Delivery, But at Check Out , horrendous Shipping charges were added. I have just now done a purchase , and am pleased to have got them for £ 4.60 a pack. So be careful when shipping in your blades.

Even though I use exclusively injectors, I still haven't gone around to trying the Schicks. The Personnas are excellent and far above GEMS and DE blades. I'm scared I will like the Schick more and be forced to shell out more money for something Chinese. Though something tells me maybe people like the Schick more because they are more expensive. I did try the much coveted Personna 74s and longetivity aside, I found they shaved exactly the same as current production personnas.

I started Injector shaving recently and used Personna, and found them good in some Schicks but not brilliant in others. I purchased two packs of Chicks just in case, because experienced injector shavers had intimated that they were better than the Personna in some razors. This fact was borne out when i used a PAL injectomatic , as the Personna just did not shave properly . When a Schick was put in the razor it was transformed. I also found that I could not load a Personna into the PAL Adjuster , due to problems with Key Design. So I have found my purchase of Shick blades worthwhile. I feel sure that most injector shavers buy the Schicks for practical reasons.

There is no higher "YMMV" on anything than there is on blades....But I feel safe in saying, if you do not feel a difference between the 74's and the rebranded modern Personnas....Then you will probably not notice a difference with the Chinese Schicks.... For me, there was a much bigger difference between the 74s and the new Personnas than the Chicks and the Personnas...But thats that ole YMMV thing.... Now all said and done, I do love the new Personnas....I think they are better than almost any DE blade except my one very favorite... and in several Schicks I can't see an arguable difference between the Chinese Schicks and Modern Personnas....I do see a difference between the two in my Pal Injecto-matic, but not much....a big difference in my E2....no difference in my C3.... With the razors where I see a difference....it's that the Schick Blade is a tad smoother, and the Personna a tad harsher....especially on the first couple shaves....But like I said, I don't notice any difference with my C3 Schick Simplfied Automatic Repeater.... Hope this helps.....I think with a really harsh shaver, the Schick blade can help to smooth it out....for some people.....But with a great shaver, that already feels smooth to you, then thats not nessesary....

Quick question guys: How do NOS Made In Holland Schick blades rate? I've got 5 and am wondering if they're any good?
Also NOS Personna Super Platinum, black label with gold lettering?

I've tried some NOS Schick Platinum Made in Holland (all metal injector with black and red lettering) and they were very very smooth...way better than modern Personnas.
But some friends who tried the same blades (I mean, not from the same injector but another Nos package, bought from a different seller) said they felt not too sharp....so I guess it could depend on how well they've been stored over the years.
