I love my cigars. Since I can not afford the good stuff I smoke the OK stuff. This usually means ordering one of the house brands from Thompson Cigar Company. What do the other Cigar guys here smoke?

I've tried one by Arganese. It was good and not too expensive. The Macanudo Maduro was good, too, but that was a one-time treat for myself.

I love a Maduro. That is what I order from Thompson.

I'm in Australia, so getting cubans is no big deal. Normally have partagas on special occasions. Cheap compared to the rest of the big name cubans.

No idea, don't have much from the DR over here. No one bothers getting the premium DR cigars since the cubans easy to get and a more sure sale for the importer. A quick browse reveals many cuban brands making them under their name in the DR though. So to be honest, I have never compared good ones from DR to the cuban equivalent, but I have had some cheap DR cigars.
Cheap is cheap for reason no matter where it comes from, so I don't have a fair comparison sorry. Down here what is not cuban cigar, are just the cheap ones that I will say are not very good, I'd rather pay $8 for a cuban than $2 from somewhere else. Bare in mind that a bottle of bourbon here is $30 minimum, and a fast food meal is $8, so the au$ buys less as wages are higher, rent and real estate is higher too.
The only thing I got cheap was SE razors when I was buying them in 2009, and mainly from the UK (as most USA sellers didn't ship internationally, and when they did it was $15+), while from the UK, prices were lower as no one seems interested in SE in the UK, and all sellers happy to ship overseas to australia.

I really enjoy a cigar or pipe, but only if someone else is smoking it, if I have my medication coursing through my veins, and if it's just a sniff. Even then it's an almost instant reaction- adult onset asthma.
I love the smell, but I'm very sensitive to it. Throws my broncii into an absolute tizzy. I used to smoke too; pipe, cigars and cigarettes. As I wrote, I love the smell if it's dilute, figure that out!

Lately I've been getting the Cuban Rounds Robustos from JR Cigars with either the Maduro or Medium Brown wrappers. They're from Nicaragua. Not a bad cigar IMHO for a quite reasonable price. I used to be partial to H. Upmanns but they're just a bit too pricey for me these days.

I was given a cigar from the Brigham pipe rep at the last pipe club meeting. It's still sitting in the other room. How should I store it?

At least a zip loc bag with the air pressed out. If you dont have good storage smoke it up. It will just dry out other wise.
