So some of you may remember that I have a 1910 Gem Junior Bar that was given to me by Dave Irving. I have not had it out in quite some time and broke it out for an early morning shave. It was instantly clear why I love this razor. From the first tough of the blade on my face the shaving gods decided it was going to be a great shave. The sound of this thing working its way through the stubble is magic in itself. I got one of the best shaves ever with hardly any effort. I have to say that I feel sorry for anyone who has never had the pure pleasure of shaving with one of the 100 + year old beauties.

That's one SE razor that I've never had the pleasure of liking. It's not that I haven't tried to like them either. I've had 2 of them and each has been far too mild for me. I got both of them given to me and I wound up giving both of them away to folks who like them as much as you like yours.

If you get any more that need a home throw them South. 😆
