I have managed to get hold of an elegant long handled Schick N3, which gives a super shave with a Twin Blade. Have been trying to get hold of one for a friend, but they do not seem readily available, is there a reason for this.

i agree, it took my a while but with ebay alerts i have a type N, the were made late 80s and early 90s, my guess is the injector market was dying and not many were made

The good news, is that the Schick Adjustables also work very well with the Twin Injector blades....So until you can find an N type for your friend...a nice Schick Adjustable could hold them over very nicely....I think you are right in that there probably were not very many made...and also I believe folks who have them are holding on to them aswell...I think you should stockpile those Twin injector blades while you can, because those fortunate enough to know about them, are stockpiling...NOT ME....but just sayin.....lol!
