I already let the cat out of the bag to wchnu, but I figured I'd make an official announcement. Found out today, I got the job I applied for. It will be a new experience for me, but I'm excited to have it. Gonna be a good opportunity for growth and development. Chargeeeee!!!!

Yeah, but look on the bright side... absolutely full physical work up, 3 squares a day, it'd be like a vacation for 2-3 weeks and no bill. I wonder if they have wifi? But they wake you up every hour for vitals, and a blood sample!

Going to be front end ( cashier, inventory , merchandising) supervisor. Still waiting on the background check to come back. I know it will be ok cause I've never had any issues before. Should be any time soon.

Austin, my son has been very sick these last few hours. His temperature has been as high as 102.7. I bet I must have walked 8 to 10 miles with him trying to coax him back to sleep. I'm not complaining, not in the least. I'm glad I could be Daddy these last couple of days. I just wish he wouldn't need me to walk for him to sleep..... Well, he's waking up, gotta go back to walking him.

We have a third one on the way.

Waiting for a hair cut and neck shave. The shop is full today. Lucky for me there are two good barbers and a couple of younger hair cutters working. Should not take too long. You know it actually surprises me the amount of people I see on shaving videos with the long neck hair. I shave mine a couple of times a week. You don't need much lather, it actually is better if you use less or a brushless that is mostly clear. Grab a hand mirror, turn your back to the big mirror and have at it Annie Oakley style. Works for me. I cut my own hair too. Bought a good set of made in USA clippers for about $50. Haircuts were $15 + $5 tip and I'd get at least once a month. Would have rather had them every two weeks, but that woudl get spendy. Now I cut my own every 10 days to two weeks. I mostly buzz cut, but do have it a bit longer on top. I've learned to acceptably taper from one length to the next. I just spread out some news papers over my work bench, cut it their, fold up the news papers and then shop vac any stray hair. Hell sometimes I shop vac my head. Old time barbers had a vacuum attachment for that very reason, now that is gone and you got someone just blowing it off you with a hair dryer. If I had nicer hair that I wore longer, I'd pay a professional, but I don't so I go this route and save some $$$.

I do have nice hair even if it is grey or salt and pepper and I do the same as you Mr. C'. I bought electric clippers probably 25 years ago that are still going strong today for <$25. Every 2 or 3 weeks I give myself a buzz cut. In less time than it takes for me to drive into town, not to even think about waiting for the cut, I'm done with the deed. If I was vain it wouldn't work, but I'm not. I figure those clippers have saved me a ton of $ and untold time.
