I got this HELDTITE brush and a Schick E2 in a BIN on eBay. The E2 is replacing one I traded last year. The brush, I wanted to restore. The knot had to go. It came apart pretty easily. I cleaned up the handle and Dremmelled the ferrule with a buffing wheel. I used Testors black paint to restore the lettering. I decided to go back with black on the handle. I set a Maggard standard 24mm synthetic with silicone. Here it is with its second shave. It does a really good job.

Great job Jim. It is fun bringing those brushes back to life. I am always on the lookout for the barbers handled brushes.
