Great catch, know how it feels. I have the same set, albeit without blades or the Ever Ready logo inside the case. Mine did have the original shipping box. It was described as the Cigarette case set. theoriginalsafety2.com/thread/2291/ready-double

Go for it a nice hand strop and a dip in alcohol. You will be ready to rock. If you have a regular strop and handle that is all the better. Have fun Tom

I've never heard of a successful shave with an original blade that wasn't honed and/or stropped before use.

Beautiful Score!!! As Far As The Vintage Blades Go.... At least Stropped....But be careful with the "Hand-Stropping".... razorx told me awhile back that "Too much 'hand-stropping' can affect your eye-sight..."
