I have been told that all Schick G heads are the same no matter what handle they have. That makes sense. Recenrly I saw some one post elsewhere that his G8 head was not the same as his G1. I know my G8 has a much more aggressive feel then my G1. It is more like my E2. Looking at the heads I see no difference. Now I know even heads of the same model can feel different. I think inserting the key and twisting can change things over time. So how about it. Are the heads the same or was there a change along the timeline with the G's?

No change that I know of, but it is true that even the same model can shave different, don't know whether due to usage of the key or simply to factory tolerances. I've got 2 identical G1s that I use often and I feel that one is slightly more aggressive than the other.

I recently compared my early G1 (which I find aggressive) to a G8. The safety bar on the G1 was shorter and set closer to the blade than the one on the G8. The G8 actually had a geometry closer to that of the E2.

Suppose to be the same and some examples are....but you know modern razor production....there are too many tolerance differences to mention between even razors of the same model type... But for some reason....most shave very efficiently, and very similar...But I have had a G1 that was more aggressive than a G8....and a G8 that was more aggressive than an E2 even !!
So there you have it! But the bottom line....I can say with a clear concious is....I've never met a Schick Injector that I didn't love....With the correct angle adjustments they all shave great! Aswell as; in some cases; letting the injector pick it's favorite blade rather than you forcing your favorite blade on the injector...Lol!!
