Over the last month or so I have picked up some Kaywoodie pipes. Two of them were just luck. I picked up this Kaywoodie white briar the other day. It is in great shape. After a good cleaning I packes it with some super value black cavendish for the ride to work today. It has the 3 hold stinger and smoked great! These are pipes along the same line as Dr.Grabow. I am finding they smoke great though!!

How do the DrGrabow's smoke? I have sevetal of them. They smoke fine to me. They can get hot quicker then more expensive brands since they use lower quality thinner briar. Just have to take it easy with them. I think the turkish meerschaums are the best though.

Does white briar occur naturally, or is it treated somehow?

Does white briar occur naturally, or is it treated somehow? Looks like a type of paint. Tbey made blue red yellow and green that I have seen also.
