Today I received from an ebay sale, my very first Lather Catcher: the Comfort! Here are the obligatory pics: It didn't come with the stropping extension and handle and the end of the handle as a small defect. It seems a little bit different than the one I found in this thread: theoriginalsafety2.com/thread/718/another-comfort-lather-catcher As mine doesn't have any blade stops so a gem blade slides right off the razor when pulling the locking spring in place. I have a wedge blade in transit coming from an experienced user of LC from the UK that I arranged to hone and strop a blade for me to use with this. As soon as I get it I'll report back on its use.

Daniel that is a beautiful razor. Can't wait to see how it shaves for you! I'm a but scared that it will shave wonderfully and this turns into the first of many. I'm already "window shopping" a Heljestrand just in case I'll love wedge blade shaving hehe

Make sure your wedge is nice and sharp. Just try to remove the lather. You will be stunned.
