Found enough energy to shave today. This bug is kicking my butt. Well I had 5 full days growth to test out my Shapleigh. Using a De-spined Gem it was a bit rough on the first pass. The second and third passes were much better. I will try again later with a normal growth. Was that the first shave with. SS Gem? They are alwYs rough to me. Beautiful set up there!! No it is a carbon blade. I think it was a bit more growth than the razor liked. I try and stay clear of Stainless

Outstanding Sunday shave. I used the Schick M with a new ASR blade. Since jamie was rocking the Freds AS I used some Family Dollar Spice. What better soap then Old Spice. As usual I put a few drops of the after shave on top of the puck. The Semogue 1460 did a wonderful job with it. This brush has some of the most awkard looking bristles....they all run every which a way.

Sun 7th Jan. RazoRock Syn. 22mm Tabac soap Schick Type N3 Schick Japanese Twin [ 15 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off Tabac A/S Lotion As going out for the day and up a bit later than usual , needed a good dependable Shave. The obvious choice was an Injector, so I got out the N3, as I was curious to see how it would perform with the blade on its 15th outing. Very pleased to say the combo is still going strong and I had a fuss free Shave, with a great all round finish. I suppose that now I will have to keep going until the blade expires !

We need to get a Valet Shave day. When was it patented? I just noted the question on the patent date. I will look at mine when I get home!

January 6, 2018 Last Night's Shave... My 1st Valet Shave, appeared unused. Anybody know the type? The unmolested SS Feather blade snaped in the posts and fit like a glove. Thanks, Jamie Jamie I believe it is a "VC2". It looks very much like the one I have other than yours is in better shape and the notch locations are in different places. The second and third passes were much better. I will try again later with a normal growth. I hope you are feeling better Tom.
