Ok folks. Here are a couple of handles. Which one is the best? Think pine clear bottom black top.

I would be fine with either one. But if I had to choose #2

I like #3. I think it fits with the more vintage flavor of most SE razors.

I love the second one but the bottom heavy is lovely too... I'm not prejudiced to bottom heavy features *wink wink nudge nudge

Split decision so far. I am leaning toward the second one myself. Tom has suggested a aluminum ferrule also. Here is a pic of one of jayaruh brushes witj one. What do you guys think...something like this or the wood painted black?

I can get along with many handle styles but I don't particularly care for long handles. They make me feel as though my hand and face are in different counties. Are the handles on those brushes ok?

There will also be a medallion on the bottom.

Just had a thougt (yes, it hurt) about knots for the proposed brush.
Some like synthetic (me), some boar (fuzzy), some badger (lots) so how about we commission a handle only and the knot be left up to the individual?
A standard style handle with a standard size opening for the knot but no knot.
Just sayin'
