So, recently during a day off work (snow expected, people losing minds, cant sit at home anymore) I started to drive around, and came across a local brewery. I didnt know my college town had one, well I also found the beer in my local grocery store. Got 2 six packs, one called Dammit Jim, the other called Kadigan. Both original recipe brews. Dammit Jim, a bit on the hoppy side, which I like, does seem to have a bit of spice to it, and is a bit darker than normal. I couldnt drink it all day, but after a hard days work, or out for a steak, it is a great beer to have. ABV is about average. All in all a good beer for a good evening on the town. Kadigan- Blonde beer, that isnt watered down. Tastes similiar to a light beer, but still full bodied. I am no beer expert, but it does seem to have different notes to the sweetness and has some vanilla and caramel notes. Not super sweet, but they do seem to be there. The hoppe flavor is there and it tastes on par with Dammit Jim, albiet a bit more sweet. If you like blonde beer, this one is good for a lazy saturday afternoon, or fishing, or mowing the grass. Not sure if they ship out of Texas, but if you are ever in Houston, or College Station you should be able to find it. Cheers! Attachments:

I recomend that if you are close to the Houston area, and want to pick up a 6 pack, go for the Kadigan. I had to rewire some things here at the homestead, and had a couple while working, great beer to sip on while working hard and sweating a storm.

"...I'm a brewer, not a doctor!" That was the first thing that I thought of when I first found out about it. I want to go on a tour of the brewery and try to see if I can buy a case of the stuff. Right now they just have it availabe in 6 packs, and when i go, i go all out!

Looks good, what kind of beer is it? LOL, haven't got a clue. Unfortunately they're already out of business. How about this old beauty? Used to be made in Pittsburgh for Christmas. "The pale stale ale weigh the foam on the bottom."
