Nice catch there Fuzzy. Without a better shot of the pat. numbers I do believe you are right in that it looks as though it is an E4. The E's just had one pat number on them where the G's had two. Is it a Canadian Schick?

Is it a Canadian Schick? Ok now I am shot down. It has 2 pat numbers. The case and the shipper are right for the E4. I thought the G had the white handle not the mixed handle of the E. It is US made.

Then it looks like an early G1. It looks as though it says "Schick Injector" around the rivet head. The more common G's have "EverSharp Schick" around the pivot head. That is in correlation to when EverSharp bought it out and put their name on it in 1946. So if I had to put a date on it, I would say 1946. Look at it this way, Your new razor is as old as you are. HA!HA!HA!

Two patent numbers - Type G Eversharp on the cardboard box - Type G Parallel grooves on blade guard? Can't see. Unless it's a Frankrazor or Frankenbox I'd say Type G.

HA!HA!HA! Well crud. Now I have to hunt up a E4 to make it right. It's a nice older G though looks like. I will check the writting to make sure when I get home from work this evening. And I just look that old....come a bit closer so my cane will reach.

I didn't even look at it. Most of the razors I pick up don't have the boxes. I'll have to remember that one.

I decided this was one of the razors going to carlfrommo for his mild injector trial. So it was only right that I clean it up and run it around the ole mug. Poped in a personna blade...lathered up the Boots soap with the Semogue 1305 and charged off. Wow what a shave. Veddy veddy smooth razor. This one will be a hit I am sure!!

Nice! I get to try a professionally test-driven G-model. This will be a good way to establish a base line. I will compare it to my current model to see if the razor I have is really that blood thirsty, or if it is bad technique by the "driver'.
She's a real looker, Fuzzy. Lots of figure in that handle.

When I first saw this one I knew I had to have. Now that I shaved with it I know its a keeper.
