Claymore, Cologne Russe, JR Boar First go with the Claymore, have a close shave using a Feather Pro. Head design similar to the general, but maybe a little more mild, but way heavier than the general

Tabac Tuesday's ShaveProraso Pre Shave Tabac JR#257 Synthetic Micromatic Clog Pruf Personna Gem CS Personna Pal CS CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water Today is day two of the blade test. Up for the first pass will be the Pal CS blade followed by the GEM CS blade for the second pass. I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Ingram Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the JR #257 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Micromatic Clog Pruf Razor using a Personna Gem and Pal CS SE blades and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Both blades performed very well today. I got a very close shave with no issues. Audible feedback was there with both blades.

I believe that is a Perle. I have one just like that Greetings Although mine is not badged up at all I have personally seen them stamped up as Le Grelot ,and L'Essor, and I do know they were sold under several other names, I have tried to find out who made them but drawn a blank. What I have found out is that the stropper handles with most of them are stamped Unis France but I am unable to find out who they were, perhaps they were the company that made all of these razors. It seems to me that probably subject to a large minimum order they would stamp any name on them you wanted! I any event they are really nice shavers and built like a tank. Regards Dick. Dick Thanks for all of the info on the razor. Very interesting that it was made under many names. It is a nice razor. Tom

Beautiful brush! What brand is JR? Jayaruh from here makes them. Excellent work I thought it would be one of Jim's hehehe But I wasn't sure. I'm the lucky tutor of two jayaruh™ brushes and couldn't agree more. Excellent craftsmanship.

I also have a horse and a badger by him as well. You just can’t seem to have only one JR BRUSH. I have 7 at the moment. Funny thing is I never had a plan to be a brush collector. Jim cured me of that. I am always on the lookout for another.

Tuesday Night Shave. Razor: ER 1909 Blade: Gem CS (3) Brush: Rubberset 3 Soap: WSP Lavenderwood AS: Florida Water Epic simply Epic shave tonight. It has been months since I have used this soap. I decided to bust it out as I thought it would pair well with the Florida Water. My ER always delivers a fantastic shave. This combo was HEAVEN. I just found the FW today. I have never tried it. Boy was I missing out. Anyways, this will be a combo I will for sure use in the future. Tom
