Sat 3rd February RazoRock Plissoft 22mm Cyril Salter Solid soap Supply SE V1 + V2 No 3 Plate Schick Proline [ 4 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Now that I have fitted a V2 no3 plate to the Original V1 Razor, it works really well every time. Despite having a strong beard I get smooth and comfortable Shaves, with a finish as good as I get with an E2 or PAL Injecto Matic. As there are no post shave problems, I have so far had 4 consecutive Shaves , and intend to complete the week. I would recommend one to someone who wants to try out one of the modern S/S SE/Injectors , but would suggest getting a V1 at a good price, and then get a V2 plate No 3.

SE Sunday's ShaveProraso Pre Shave Old Spice Musk Oscar11 Synthetic Gem 1905 Lather Catcher Personna Pal CS SE CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Old Spice Musk Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Oscar11 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1905 Lather Catcher Razor using a Personna Pal CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Edit: I had planned to use the vintage Gem Cutlery blade, but at the request of Andrew, linuxguile , I switched to the Personna Pal CS SE blade. He wondered how it would do after a stropping. I stropped it 20 times on the linen and 20 times on the leather. It produced a very smooth shave. I had already taken my picture, so I am not going to retake it.

You will like it!

Sundays shave. Razor: Gem Damaskeene ( from @obie at TSN) Blade: Gem stainless Brush: Jayaruh #242 Soap: Williams My first shave tomorrow with my new Damaskeene. I love my 1912, so this should be sweet."] I bet you love it!! Will be fun to see what you think of the curved top! Damaskeene shave this morning. Very smooth, easy to use, very much like my 1912. What curved top do you mean? Side by side I don't see much difference between this and the 1912.

Early MMOC/PTFE with shim. Soap is actually one of mine from last year which is pretty damn good. One ATG pass + cleanup (headshave), two for beard. I could live happily with the MMOC as my only SE.

Sunday 4th February Semogue 620 OSP Lavender Rocnel SE-P O/C ½ Voskod Teflon Coated #1 Alum Wash Fonex Gummy Lavender Cologne Astral Moisturiser After being let down by a seller on ebay when trying to buy some Herbs of Bulgaria lavender aftershave. I found this Turkish cologne. And I'm very pleased I did. It's fresh and has a nice, but not overpowering scent. It matched the OSP well. A really pleasant shave from the Rocnel made for a very close result.

I was testing the blades, that were sent out for the trial, and boy, do I have an opinion about them. This shave was a decent one in the end, salvaged by the CVS blade. The Old Spice Lime, did an amazing job of protecting my skin, as evidenced by the fact that I only caught my upper lip once, and I am amazed that there wasnt more nicks, and cuts. The CVS blade on its 5th shave, and I think is just now finding a sweet spot. The brush, as always performs wonderful. I still want to try some vintage Shulton Old Spice to see how it compares, but that will have to wait.

Side by side I don't see much difference between this and the 1912. Most of the 1912s have the strsight slanted cap. The Dammies I speak of (I thought yours looked like one in the pic) have a rounded cap. Some think it makes a difference some say no. I like the curved cap even though I do not think it makes a difference in the shave. 2/3/18 Last Night Shave 2.4.18 sotn lady eversharp personna 74 3rd shave... amazing blade Your in charge of the Razor porn calender right??? Beautiful set ups. Does the liquid cream shave lather?
