A quarter of the way through "Brothers in Blood" by Dusty Richards. It is a good read, but a little slow on the uptake, but starting to get interesting!

Which ones of the Marine Corps books do you have? I may not have read em yet. Maybe we can trade some books, give us new stuff to read instead of the same old same old. Ill look in my box in storage as well, may have some more.
The title of the Clive Cussler is "Golden Buddha" Says the First Novel of the Oregon Files. If you havent read it, ill send it to you, just let me know.

One of the many hats I wear is “pastor” so I read a lot of old dry books by old dry guys lol Usually have a few going at a time.
Other than that my personal favorites are Kurt Vonnegut, Upton Sinclair, Zane Grey and really any western or military related material. Here recently a lot of TOST to boot.

Did not know you were a Pastor. It is always fun to learn things like that about people we interact with on sites like this! It is great to have you here. I have some old western stuff around here too. Not a lot of the Zane Grey but I have read a few. Great reading. I have Louis L'Amore of course and then J.T. Edson is a favorite. I read Scriptures every day. For those that don't know, I'm a pastor so need to know my stuff. I did not know that Poppi. It does make sense after reading a ton of your post over the years. I had breakfast with my preacher and another friend from the Church yesterday morning. Shave on good Sir!

I started a book that Sir Alan sent me. It is one from Sir Winston Churchill. I need to take more time out for it and will soon.

Fuzzy, is it a biography of Sir Winston Churchill? I recently enjoyed a book on James Madison written and compiled by Laura Bush. There are tons of details there, and it can be a bit dry at times, almost reading like a text book. However for the serious history affecianidoes there is no better way to understand a historical figure than to read the little mundane things that they did on a daily basis, or through private correspondence with others.
