Speaking of rose scented soaps I recently got some Klar Kabinett. That is one fabulous soap, produces a very, very nice lather and has a really nice, authentic rose scent that isn't overpowering. Highly recommended. That is sold in a #100 block isn't it?

Made in Germany. Package printed in China. Distributed by a company in Quebec.
First whip of this soap reminds you of strongly scented hand soap. I'm tempted to shave.

Got this in. What a great Rose scent. I think it will tone down some now that it is out of the package. Not a big puck of soap. Will have to see how much it takes to get a good lather. I will post a few pictures here in a bit.

The mention of made in Germany and rose scent immediately made the connection to Klar Kabinett, then seeing the sodium and potassium soaps further nailed that down. However, Klar Kabinett at least doesn't have that short a list of ingredients.
But yes, the combination of both sodium and potassium soaps give great lather in my experience. It's one of the things I look for for a really great soap, and if one is missing, the potassium soap had better be there. I have no doubt that there are exceptions. MdC is one of the best lathering soaps I know of and all it has is potassium soap - exclusively.
I just had to check further... ARKO has potassium soap as the first ingredient listed. I can't check a Williams box now.

I am a total rose freak myself. It is great to hear that there are other rose scented soaps out there that people enjoy. I am a junkie on the Truefitt & Hill and really enjoy the Trumpers Rose cream too. So, I am going to be watching out for an opportunity to check out this stuff - and the Kabinett stuff also.
Thanx for sharing - I am getting all pumped up about soap again!!!! (Gotta blame Krissy on this too! )

Good luck on the K'Kabinett! I'm curious to know how you guys like it. It was far too potent for my nose straight out of the wrapper, but I shredded mine and am aging it. I used a shred this past weekend after 15 days (?) of aging and it's much better. My plan is to try a shred every weekend until I decide it's aged enough. Last weekend it was MUCH better, but still not quite ready for me. The preformance otherwise is quite good.
