I am using the Schick F this week that GarnerPW sent me to try. It is a beauty. It's Menthol Monday, guys. Menthol MondayProraso Pre Shave Fine Snake Bite Jayaruh #144 Badger Schick F Schick Proline B20 CWR Thayer's Lemon WH English Leather I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Fine Snake Bite Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 badger brush. I did two passes with the Schick F with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I made a video of this first shave with the Schick F. The first part is a bit "Fuzzy" and not in focus, but it does get better. It was an excellent shave. I would not call this a mild razor. It is very efficient.

Mon 16th April Stirling Syn. 26mm Stirling Baker Street PAL S/S Adjustable Schick Proline [ 5 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion Today I stuck to my usual mid point setting on the PAL, as last time out I played around with the settings which resulted in a less comfortable/ efficient Shave . With a great lather from the Stirling the Razor was very effective with a nice degree of blade feel.I was able in the latter stages of the Shave to get an ultra close finish by using the lightest of strokes to do the polishing up work. I know for sure why I have placed this Razor as one of my Favourite Injectors, along with the Injecto-Matic. The Type F has recently come onto the scene vying for top spot.

Good shave today from my favorite 1912. Put a little menthol in my Monday before work shave. This Super Max cream from Bulgaria is really nice. Loving the DayLogic Brisk. Wooooo. The big ole JR 176/Omega boar worked great! I like my synthetic brushes but nothing out works a big ole boar.

After using the Schick Injector I got from a generous PIF for the last week and receiving a couple of SE blades for the Shovelhead my kids found for me from another gracious member, decided to go with this setup for a while. Shave was great, considering I have only used any SE Razer for about a week. Did not realize what I have been missing.

Tues 17th April RazoRock Plissoft 24mm Cyril Salter Solid soap ATT SE1 + Windrose Handle Schick Proline [ 1 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Have just got 15 good Shaves with a Proline in the ATT SE1, and I have a tough beard. I reckon that combo must suit me so have just loaded a new blade. Quite noticeable that it is new so paid care and attention during the Shave to avoid mishaps. Pleased to say that the Shave was smooth and comfortable, and the quality of finish was great.

Wed 18th April Vulfix 404 Vitos Super Red ES Claymore V1 + Windrose Handle Schick Proline [ 13 ] Massimo Dutti The Vitos provides a super lather for this rather underrated razor, I reckon a lot who tried it were put off by the weight. Since changing handles I have found myself more confident in its use, and today had a very enjoyable smooth and easy Shave, with a first class all round finish. As they have discontinued this Razor in favour of the up market Chieftain, i probably have what may become a collectors item .
