I believe this is a type G6: It cleaned up nicely. I am not sure about the originality of the blades, but they look old. Is that a brass cartridge? Another look: It arrived yesterday. After a little scrubbing with a soft toothbrush and scrubbing bubbles, it was rinsed, and left to dry. This morning I shaved with it. It is sweet. I don't "need" to look any further. (But, I probably will) This razor is a keeper.

That is NICE!! The G6 is on my list. I do think it is a brass magazine.i have a few of them around. Very nice razor. Waiting for the shave reports.
