Menthol Monday's Shave
Proraso Pre Shave C.O. Bigelow Jayaruh #284 Darwin Hollow Ground Safety/ Schick E2 Darwin HG Razor / Schick Proline CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Aqua Velva Musk I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Darwin Hollow Ground Safety Razor with a Darwin Hollow Ground blade, and I just could not get a close shave. I ended up using my Schick E3 for clean up and ended with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Omega 11047 Boar/Badger Soap: Stirling Spice Razor: Gem Damaskeene Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Cold water rinse, Old Spice ASL First use of the Mixed Midget and after the Wee Scot it feels like a monster. A little bit of scritch and it eats the lather but I'm sure both of these issues will resolve themselves over time. The Dammo works really well with the extra length and weight the 1914 handle affords it. A very nice start to the week indeed. Happy Shaving one and all.

It is my go to when traveling, but I also enjoy using it (and its different twin in boar) at home from time to time. Should I also get a Wee Scot, in your opinion?

Monday 23rd April Vig Shaving 24mm Tux Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood soap Brass General Schick Proline P #12 Alum Wash Old Spice Original A/S Lacura Body Moisturiser The T&H sandalwood soap was a very nice surprise birthday gift. It has a lovely scent, albeit not strong. This 1st use of the soap gave an extremely pleasant shave. The efficiency of removing the rough bits came from General Proline.

Mon 23rd April Omega 11126 OSP Bay Rum Schick J3-Golden 500 Schick Proline [ 7 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion The Golden 500 is a very smooth Shaver, but I find that used with a Proline AC blade its efficiency is enhanced. Today I had not only a smooth Shave, but without effort or post shave problems it was easy to attain an ultra close all round shave.

Razor: Gem Junior Bar Blade: Gem PTFE Coated (1) Brush: Whipped Dog 24 mm Slivertip Lather: Arko Shave Stick Aftershave: Mixture Aqua Velva Musk/Clubman/Lilac Vegetal I was truly amazed with this razor, on this my first shave with a member of the Lather Catcher family. I loved not having to rinse the razor during a pass, and I loved the resulting BBS shave too!
