A lovely relaxed Sunday morning shave with the razor that kindled my interest in SEs and had me wondering if S.E actually stands for superior equipment.
The Arko cream isn't half bad either, well the scent isn't half as bad as the soap.
All finished of with a splash of the wonderful Pashana, bliss.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

That handle is nice huh?

Yep. If I had it to do over again, I'd make it about a half inch shorter. I like the length of yours best.

Busted out my WW I military issue 1914 ER. Great shave to be had with this little guy.

The British Stirling finished off for an added bonus.
