On the recommendation of twhite , I got some Tabac After Shave. I am looking forward to using it this week along with my new Jayaruh brush and Gem Damaskeene razor. Menthol Monday's Shave
Proraso Pre Shave C.O. Bigelow Jayaruh #292 HMW Badger Gem Damaskeene CVS Carbon Steel SE CWR Thayer's Peach WH Tabac I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 High Mountain White badger brush. I did two passes with the Gem Damaskeene Razor with a CVS Carbon Steel SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Semogue 2000 Boar Soap: Proraso Green Razor: Blackland Sabre L2 Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Cold water rinse, Proraso Green ASL If this knot was set 5mm lower it would possibly be my favourite boar brush, as it is, it's a wee bit floppy but a pleasure to use all the same. The Sabre enjoyed the slickness of the Proraso and my skin enjoyed the splash. Happy Shaving one and all.

I'm with Tom. You cannot just say "Home made SE pivoting adjustable razor" and not expect to explain with pictures and all. It must be no big deal to him😊 I will get on that tonight. It was a razor i made a few weeks ago for Mayhem across the street. It actually worked so i decided to use it again. Stay tuned for more details and pics .

Mon 28th May Omega s10065 Syn. Haslinger Honig Schick "O" Clone Schick Twin-Japan [ 9 ] La Toja A/S Lotion Have been away for a couple of days, so as unpacking decided to use my travel kit.The good thing about the "O" Clone is that it is forgiving, and even when shaving in a poor shaving environment one can get a passable Shave without sustaining cuts or nicks. Good to be Home where mirror/ light is good and I had a smooth and comfortable Shave, with a close all round finish.

Pre: Cold water face wash, Brush: Maseto 24mm ST Soap: Wickham's Irish Fern Razor: Sabre L1 Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Cold water rinse, Wickham's Irish Fern PSB Having yet again favoured the L2 yesterday, I thought the L1 was being unfairly treated, so out it came today. Not a bad shave at all, I find it similar to the ER Pushbutton, three full passes and pick ups required. The Wickham's soap and balm were of course excellent. Happy Shaving one and all.

SOTD MAYhem 29th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Gem G-Bar Gem Industrial CS (stropped 30 passes on Ever-Ready automatic stropper) Sir Hare 'Classic Barber' Stirling Unscented PSB enhanced with Canoe AS Rescue Razor: unmentionable For today's attempt at mayhem I decided to see if I could get a Gem Industrial CS blade to cut a little better by giving it a few laps on the leather courtesy of the Ever-Ready automatic stropper. Started off with my cheeks and nope, this blade still didn't cut any better and was tugging badly. If this were my first experience with SE's I would have run and never looked back. Ditched the G-Bar in favor of asn unmentionable. finished off 3 passes and just missed the baby due to some increasingly tough whiskers on my chin. Have a great day my friends!
