I just found mine. It is a 1924, too. You can see the short handle, but it may not be as short as yours. Yours looks in much better shape than mine too. Mine has brassing. It is the one at about 10 o'clock.

Thur 31st May Vulfix 404 Vitos Super Red ES Claymore V1 Schick Proline [ 1 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion A fresh blade today as I had rather pushed the last one a bit, got up to 14 outings of pretty good Shaves. Even though the blade was new I had no problems getting a smooth and comfortable Shave. The finish in some areas not quite as good as usual, but I think that is down to rushing a bit , but at least that hurry did not cause any problems.

Mine is beyond brassing, just polished that gold sucker down to straight brass. I've got a badly brassing MMOC which should benefit from the same treatment...how do you do that?

Badly brass gold is easy, fine sandpaper and a cream polish (Mothers/Flix/Brasso) with microfiber towels is all it took. Dremel would be easier but easy enough by hand on the 1924.

Mine isn't gold, it's chrome. I'll probably try with the Dremel.

Freestyle Friday Pretty simple 2 pass shave with cold water today as its freaking hot here . Going to run similiar set up to this all month. Low budget gear and soaps . The Nivea is dirt cheap but does a remarkable job. I like it .

Fri 1st June RazpRock Syn. 24mm Lea Classic soap Mongoose B3 Schick Proline [ 11] Lea Classic A/S Lotion Another Mongoose Shave, this time with a blingy one which I purchased for reasons I do not quite understand, as I already have a satin finish one. Perhaps it was the shine that I fancied ! Despite the fact that the blade has had fair use, the Shave was not only smooth and comfortable but it was nice and close all round.

Pre: Cold water face wash, Brush: Vulfix 404 Badger/Boar Soap: Razorock Nervous Wreck Razor: Cobra Classic Blade: Schick Proline P Post: Cold water rinse, Tuff Red ASL It's my first use of a Razorock soap and it's not bad stuff at all. The scent is pleasant without being overpowering, the cushion and slickness are above average and the post shave is pretty good. I've been away for a couple of days and took a Schick I1 fitted with a twin blade. A very good travel razor but it was great to shave with a weightier razor today. Have a great weekend everyone.
