Fri 8th June Omega 11126 boar Lea Classic cream Schick I 1 Schick Twin-Japan [ 13 ] Lea Classic A/S Lotion Must use creams more often as I found the Lea provided a great lather. Used the I1 today, which works very well with a Twin Blade and is probably one of the most readily available to do so. By paying attention I sorted out an area I sometimes get wrong, I often rush the Shave at the start on my right cheek, and as a consequence the finish is not as close as in other areas. Today I ensured that area was squeaky clean before starting to shave other areas. The Resultant shave was top notch and probably my best since using my Type F.

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Shavemac TSR 2015 2 Band ST Soap: WK Man From Mayfair Razor: ER Featherweight Blade: Gem SS Post: Cold water rinse, Thayers Rose Petal WH As it was only about fifteen hours from my last shave I opted for the Featherweight but stuck with the Thayers as I wanted to try and gauge if this soap was as nourishing as yesterday's Eufros. Have a great weekend everyone.

Saturday 9th June Zenith 507TS Wickham 1912 - Classic 24 General Brass Feather Pro #5 Alum wash Irisch Moos A/S Dove Instant Hydration Cream Irisch Moos EDT After my SE hiatus with a number of unmentionables, and a loose blade error requiring copious styptic, what a great return to SEs' this was.

Terrible picture, but I wanted to share how a dab of Cremo, some Barbasol, and a little water can make for a great lather. The other parts of this nice Saturday morning shave are: GEM 1912 razor, Stirling boar brush, "Grinding Bowl" from Daiso, Thayers Lavender Witch hazel, Stirling Tea Tree shave balm. I love weekend shaves that are not rushed .

Schick G4 razor Personna 74 blade Synthetic Frankenbrush TSD Iced Lemongrass SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe TSD 2X Mentholated Lemongrass A/S
I usually don't post on weekends but wanted to keep track of my progress with this razor/blade set up. So Day 5 with the Schick/Personna combo was great again and all is going swimmingly. In fact, the blade seems to be getting smoother or maybe it's just me. At any rate, my face is very very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Sat 9th June Stirling Syn 26mm Speick Active Schick N3 Schick Twin -Japan [ 1 ] Pitralon OriginalA/S Lotion Needed a foolproof set up this weekend, as out quite early [ for me] on both days, so loaded the N3 with a fresh blade. I had almost forgotten just how good these blades are when they are new, the Shave was so easy and resultant in a face stroking finish.

Saturday night's shave Veddy nice!! This beautiful GJB was veddy nice. The after shave is from Dollar Tree. No menthol but it does have caster oil. Feels pretty good with a light scent. The BEA shave stick did great with the horse brush.

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Omega 11137 Boar Soap: MWF Razor: Gem Heavy Flat Top Blade: Gem SS Post: Cold water rinse, Thayers Cucumber WH After the Featherweight yesterday I'd thought I'd use it's sibling, the G-Bar. A very nice, relaxed, three pass Sunday morning shave, although the blade on only it's fourth use is finished. I hope you enjoy your Sunday.

On Friday, I had an episode, and my wife ended up calling 911. My blood pressure hit about 200/100. I was taken to the hospital where eventually I got into a room at 3AM Saturday morning. So, no shave Saturday or today.
I had a head CT, EKG, MRI, Echo cardiogram, a ultrasound of my carotids, blood work and urinalysis. I got checked out every way possible. Good news is, they could not find anything out of the norm. I spent Saturday night and consulted with the neurologist today. I must say, they have been thorough. What it boiled down to was hypertensive encephalopathy. That is a mouth full that makes two days in the hospital sound more reasonable. The high blood pressure ended up causing weird feelings and confusion. I think this was coming on from Thursday and came to a head Friday afternoon. I could not describe what was going on and they initially thought maybe a stroke, TIA, or some form of seizure. All that was ruled out, but by Saturday afternoon, I was feeling more like myself. My blood pressure slowly came down and today it was back to my normal except the bottom number was still high.
I am home now and have showered and got clean clothes on. I have not shaved to day, and I may just wait until Monday. It is good to be home. I apologize for not checking in, but my phone is dumb, and my computer was at home where I could not access it. Again, it is great to be back.
