I'm thinking of squirting a tube of Proraso into a container and letting it dry out and use it like a puck. Anyone tried something like this?

Go for it. I don't think it will work, but that is just a guess.

Over at TSD a yahoo ( not my favorite person over there) named Tim Spencer I think was doing this with some Indian Old Spice. Why noy just buy a tup of Proraso? It's pretty cheap.

Why noy just buy a tup of Proraso? It's pretty cheap. Especially much more so at Connaught. I’m not paying $10 for Proraso...

I'm using Proraso red now, and I have a tub of Proraso green, I was given a tube of the blue and just would rather have something less squishy that I can keep in my soap bowl thing. I'll just let it dry for a month and check it out, it'll still be soap no matter what happens.

I will be watching to see how it goes!!

It's squirted, and tucked away under the bathroom sink, I'll check on it in a week or two.

I actually just did this with a tub of Elvado Pacific Kahuna. I scooped out all the cream and spread it out over wax paper and left it for a week. I then decided to put it in a dehydrator. It didn't actually dry in the dehydrator, it turned into a liquid. I left that for 3 or 4 hours then turned it off and the soap cooled down and turned hard. I had to flip the soap as underneath there was still moisture. I let it sit for a few days and I put it back into the container. I now have a croap and it's a bit harder than Proraso. Now I can lather on the puck. Works great.
