I am continuing with my Keep It Simple Shave theme this week. I will be using my new AutoStrop B2 with a Treet blade I modified. Happy shaves, everyone. Menthol Monday's Shave Keep It Simple Shave Week
C.O. Bigelow Jayaruh #303 AutoStrop B2 Treet CS SE CWR Osage Rub Prep consisted of a cold water rinse. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #303 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B2 Razor with a Treet CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. The B2 is a mild razor. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub, a very cooling experience. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Vie-Long 14846 Badger/Horse Soap: C&E Indian Sandalwood (Lea Stick on standby) Razor: Ever-Ready Feather Weight Blade: Gem Stainless ptfePost: Cold water rinse, TOBS Sandalwood ASLI love the scent of this soap but the performance in the past was awful, so I grated and pressed it in the hope of saving it from shower duty. Sadly my efforts were in vain, there was a slight improvement (could've imagined it), but the lather was still dissipating and the first pass was a race against time. Second pass I rinsed out the brush, and lathered up with the Lea Stick and the difference was night and day, rich, slick, protective lather. Ah well, it'll make nice shower soap. Happy Shaving one and all.

Tom's No Name SE razor Gem Stainless blade JR #85 brush Taconic Eucalyptus Mint SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Taconic Eucalyptus Mint A/S
Resuming shaving after a rather unhappy start with the TNNSER razor (my fault, not the razor's) I got a wonderfully comfortable, close, smooth shave. I don't use SE's as much as I could, more of an injector guy so my SE shaves can be hit or miss. Not with this one. This razor is, for me, very easy to use and very comfortable in hand. I'm BBS and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks

Mon 16th July RazoRock Syn. 24mm OSP Bay Rum Schick "O" Clone Schick Twin- Japan [ 13 ] Alcolado Glacial Splash. After a poor Shave yesterday, due to me not changing the blade I wanted a fuss free Shave, as I had spend time getting Travel Insurance which is a chore as one gets older. As a consequence my Shave was a lot later than usual, and was very good as I used the "O" Clone with a comparatively fresh blade, so all nice and comfortable with a good finish.

Finally got back to post...When I left here earlier today I went straight upstairs and made history! Yep, I think the Schick Simplified Automatic Repeater is a fantastic shaver aswell as being too cool for school... There is alot of what I love about shaving in this picture... the Schick Repeater, the Schick Proline B-20 blade, There is a cake of Williams in that white plastic jar, the Vintage Butterscotch Stag Badger Gary Carrington rebuild, the Rebul Lavanda Colonia, the Aqua Velva Ice Blue, The Aqua Velva Moisturiser, the Thayers Rose Witch Hazel and the Guerlain Habit Rouge EdT!!! Yep...alot of favorites right here! After watching Fuzzy's B type video today....I needed a Repeater shave and I needed to shine up my C 3 after seeing how shiny the Fuzz-ster's piece was!! I was embarassed!! LOL!!
