Hello friends,
I know, many members here are americans and probably are sport fans like me.
My first time, when I watched baseball (new to me, as european citizen), was back in 2003, on Reds stadium in Cincinnati, OH.
Lately I found that this sport is really interesting, although my knowledge about rules lacks. But I do read some articles on internet and trying to understand it.
Also, there are facebook live baseball games, which is great for people outside US.
So.. do you like Baseball? Favotite team?

I grew up in Baytown TX, when the Colt 45s baseball team was created in Housston. So, they became my team. Later, with the Houston getting Nasa Space Center, the name changed to the Astros. Finally, after all these years, they are World Champions. I don't follow anymore, but when my dad was alive, I used to call him during the World Series, and we would watch it together over the telephone. That was nice.

I don't care to much for professional baseball but truly enjoy college baseball. There is a difference in attitude and approach by the players and it shows in my eyes.

I enjoy watching a game now and then. Usually with friends. No real favorite team I guess. I tend to go for the most Southern team in a game. I agree that College ball is usually more interesting to me. I live beside the LSU campus. They get the vote unless playing a Mississippi team.

I prefer minor league baseball. Usually the games are fun and held in a family environment. I’ve been kind of turned of to major league sports because it’s turned into a bunch of spoiled millionaires playing in very expensive ball parks.

I wont be a fan of modern baseball until the abomination of the designated hitter is done away with completely. It is a disgrace to the game, and ruins the spirit. Also, I believe they should let Pete Rose in the hall of fame. BUT other than that I love baseball. I'm lucky, where I live we have texas leagues. Ours are out if college, trying to get picked up by the majors to go to minor leagues. Fun to watch, and they are cheap on the food as well.
