Wed 31st October Omega 11126 boar Williams Mug soap PAL Injecto-Matic de Luxe Schick S/S Single- Japan [ 1 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion Was trying today to compare the performance of the PAL against the Canadian E2 I used yesterday. To be honest both shaved really well and delivered Great Shaves, so I will need further Shaves to decide which is No1. With a fresh Japanese Schick blade they delivered Shaves better than I get from some of the SE Razors that I use. Shame that these blades are very expensive, I note that some of the suppliers on Rakuten who offer them for sale, only ship them via EMS mail which ramps up the cost.

Phoenix Starling V2 razor Gem Blue Star blade VDH/TGN Silver Tip brush VeraSoapCo Peppermint SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Clubman Reserve Brandy Spice A/S
Skipped a couple of days so the stubble was pretty thick. No problem though and a fine shave was had. I'll be using the Starling a few more days and will post my impressions next week. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Thur 1st November. RazoRock Syn. 22mm Speick Active PAL Injecto - Matic Schick Proline [ 1 ] Pitralon Original A/S lotion Today I used a PAL again, bit this one with a Proline rather than the Japanese Schick. The Razor/Blade combo felt more aggressive but not unpleasantly so, the finished Shave quality being as good as yesterday. Though the Proline is an AC blade, and a little shorter than a standard Injector Blade I have had no problems using it in a variety of Razors. Though the Japanese Schick is nice to use, I shall not be buying any more as the Proline is a good inexpensive alternative.

Friday 2nd November Yaqi Sagrada Familia - OSP Fougere - Schick G1 - NOS Schick Platinum Plus #1 - Alum - Irisch Moos A/S - Dove Instant Hydration Cream Luckily the cased G1 that was gifted from Mike B aka mpf9ret came with its own injector magazine, so after I bought some Proline B blades from Japan I transferred some blades to the magazine. Wanting to try other blades, I bought a bargain magazine of 1970s NOS Schick Plus Platinums. They are sharp and gave me a close result with the G1. They are definitely not as smooth as the Prolines.

Fri 2nd November. RazoRock Syn. 24mm Cyril Salter Solid Soap King Cobra Schick Proline [ 6 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion As much as I like the looks and feel of the King Cobra, I am somewhat disappointed with the quality of finish I am getting with it. It could well be that I am not yet fully acquainted with it as I am only a few Shaves in. Does not help that I have had some great Shaves with Injectors over the last few days.

Sat 3rd November. Omega 11137 boar L`Occitane Cade Cream ES Claymore V1 + Windrose Handle Schick Proline [ 8 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion This Razor is considered to be an ugly duckling by many, but then they have not used it. Since fitting a non stock handle it shaves very well , being manoeuvrable and responsive to a light touch. With a luxurious Cade lather the Shave was smooth and comfortable, and an ultra close all round finish was attained. I may have praised the quality of recent Injector Shaves but they were surpassed by that obtained today , and that was with a blade on its 8th outing. I consider myself have got hold of one of these UK made Razors which were only produced in small quantities. They really perform well for those who like a heavy Razor.

SE Sunday's ShaveCold Water Wash Colgate Shaving Mug Soap Jayaruh #292 HMW Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher Original Gem Cutlery SE CWR Vintage English Leather I'm back... My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Colgate Shaving Mug Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 HMW brush. I did two passes with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher Razor with a Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Vintage English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
