Phoenix Starling V2 razor Gem Blue Star blade Maison Lambert Silver Tip brush Stirling Margaritas in the Artic SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Pinaud Clubman A/S
1st try adding a photo. Not the best pic....It will get better I hope. Anyway, the Blue Star blade was much more effective for me than the Stainless blade used last week. Used the closed comb bottom plate and got a very nice shave from the above listed combo. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Monday Oct 29 Razor: Eagle Improved Blade: Modified Gem Brush: 3D by Tom Soap: La Savin des Volcans (Lavender) AS: Stetson First go with the Eagle. Where do I start. First stroke of course. The first stroke down my cheek, I thought to myself. Man is this a mild razor. Not only that it is surprisingly quiet. Keeping the blade as flat as possible I continued for several more strokes. First rinse and there is a bunch of whiskers in the lather. Yippee this thing cuts. Finishing my first pass. I checked the results. Average 1912 type reduction. Continuing on through my next two passes. I had really nice reduction. Now for the big test. Can this little guy go true ATG on my lip? Sure thing and it was the first time it made some noise above a whisper. 3 pass shave on par with a 1912. So this is a very good thing. I think the short blade made it more stable. So there was less noise and an accomplishable ATG lip shave. Being the blade is shorter the head is a bit more compact, making shaving under the nose easy peazy! This razor will be kept and used.

Mon 29th Oct. RazoRock Syn 24mm P & B Citra Royale ATT SE1 + Windrose Handle Schick Proline [ 4 ] Alcolado Glacial A/S Splash I have over the last week had Shaves with a varied range of SE/Injectors, but probably today was the best of those Shaves. Despite its weight with the non stock handle, it Shaves very efficiently and is quite forgiving provided that the Shave is not rushed. The P & B soap has a nice fresh lemony scent which lathers well and leaves the skin feeling refreshed.

Tue 30th Oct. Stirling Syn. 26mm P & B Pall Mall Schick E2 -Canada Schick Single S/S -Japan [ 1 ] Bay Rum Splash- a L`Electrif I had a good Shave yesterday with a modern SE, but today possibly equalled or surpassed the ease and quality of it. I used my quite minty E2 loaded with a fresh Japanese Schick blade , I find this E2 to be much smoother than the US model that I have. Am getting to like this P & B soap more than i did initially, having a more subtle scent than the Spitfire.I finished off this great Shave with a splash of Bay Rum made by Arthur Electrif , was very nice too. This Shave was so good that this E2 could possibly take No1 spot from the PAL Injecto-Matic , which is currently in the lead as top Injector [ confined to use of a single blade ].

Tuesday shave Dedicated to Jayarah _____________________ Thought I would dedicate this shave to our friend Jim(Jayarah) since he's busy this week ..ahem , and showcase a couple of his fine pieces of craftsmanship. I used hot water instead because up here in Canada cold water is just taboo this time of year. At the time I snapped first pic I wasn't decided on an AS so I picked out some Skin Bracer and as its goes....I felt clean smooth and refreshed. So here's the lineup I used: *Jr 241 brush..walnut handled with synthetic knot aka the gunslinger..hence the handle reminds me of a pistol *Shick G with a handle Jim made from Louisville slugger baseball bat leftover wood parts and fitted to the head donated by Andrew( linuxguille) *Blade from Andrews shave shop *Simpson's Sandalwood shave soap *Dickensons witch hazel * Skin Bracer AS If you haven't tried a Jayarah brush yet, you don't know what you're missing. I've adopted 2 so far and both are in my opinion a masterpeice. Beautiful to look at, a pleasure to own .You can feel the love he puts into his work.
