I made a file and uploaded it to Walmart Photo and got this coffee cup. I did it on the 25th, and it was at Walmart on the 28th. I picked it up this morning. It was $9 and change including tax. If you would like to make one for yourself, PM me your email address and I will shoot you the file. Veddy classy. I love the mug I have!!

Now that we have had a serious derailment let's get back to the topic at hand wchnu I know you are a fan of the boar brushes for Willaims, but any experience with say a synthetic or badger? Do you notice any need to load longer or add any noticable extra water when using those as opposed to the boar?

I'm not trying to answer admin's question....and I want to hear his answer as much as you do... But....Since I'm standing around, just finished shaving...Thought I would share some Brush/Williams related thoughts I've had lately... This Vintage Stag brush set I have...that Gary Carrington refurbed with some badger plugs..The small one is a silver tip. These guys I have recently discovered... tear up a cake of Williams and whoop-up a mountain of soft velvety lather like nobody's business. I'm afraid I might be "Born Again Badger"...These brushes are scaring me how easy and effortlessly they make so much lather. And when I'm face lathering, and dip the tips in the hot water. They bring alot of HOT water to my face...Feels really Great! Anyway....back to your previously viewed programming...

Both synthetic and badger work fine with Williams. I do not have to do anything different to lather. That being said nothing is better then Williams and a boar brush.

I tried Williams early on in my wet shave journey. It ended up being a pretty good bath bar. I recently decided to try it again with all of my accrued knowledge.
I keep my puck in an Old Spice mug. Load it up, face lather, and keep adding cold water until it feels right. I do notice that it dissipates some, but I don't dawdle with my shaves and I never lack for slickness. It's actually really growing on me, and I'm using it mostly for the entire month. Clean smell, slick, cheap, leaves my face soft. What more do you want?

I agree once again, completely, my wise and illustrious, fuzzied sage! And very succinctly put I might add....It does appear to me that Williams is not a very brush sensitive soap. It genuinely seems to enjoy bursting into lather. And the brush best used, is which-ever brush you most want to use at the time of "The Lathering".
