Schick E3 razor Schick blade NOS Certified boar brush Stirling Margaritas in the Artic SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods A/S
Been trying to get this brush broken in for a lllooonnnggg time by soaking/hand lathering/etc. Nothing has worked, it's like lathering with a candle stick. Reckon it's a good candidate for a reknot. But everything else was just fine. Now go enjoy your day folks.

I will try to catch up in a bit. Tabac Tuesday with a OC Dammy. Video even. Really enjoyed the video, although I now have lust-in-my-heart for the OC Dammy. I've been looking around since you mentioned the OC in an earlier post, and the challenge in finding them only increases the yearning. I also thoroughly agreed with your comment on evaluating a razor based on a daily shave vs a multi-day/"bearded" shave. They are well worth the hunt. You can borrow mine sometime.

Thur 13th Dec. RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Pall Mall Supply SE-V1 / V2 No 3 plate Personna S/S [ 2 ] Floid Vigoroso. After a second Shave with this Razor/Blade combo it looks like I have found the right blade for my rather hybrid Supply SE. The V1 handle/head combines with the "aggressive" V2 very well, and with a Personna on board I had another good Shave, attaining a top quality finish without any problems.

Ogalalla Bay Rum soap kinda day with a Push Button. Outstanding shave. Burma shave brush and Pinaud VIBR. Worked great too. Was watching your video on this shave last night and thought I recognized your soap container...I use the ziploc version of it for my soaps that come without a container (e.g., Williams, Haslinger's, etc). Makes them easy to store, keeps 'em fresh and I can easily load from them.

Great Friday morning shave! A certain member here sent me this brush, it was way to generous. A reknotted ever ready 200t with a badger knot. Stetson and Williams, it don't get much better than this!

Henckles Rapide Gem SS Ever-Ready 800? TOBS Grapefruit Stirling Grapefruit First use of the Rapide. Felt so rough I thought I had a duff blade, changed the blade and no better. Probably much better with the original wedge I guess. Have a great weekend

December 14th: Gem Damaskeene (closed comb), Treet blade (1st shave), Williams, RazoRock 24mm Synthetic, Thayers Rose Witch Hazel (for touch-up pass) and finished with Krampert's Finest Bay Rum aftershave. Truly excellent 2-pass (plus touch-up) cold water shave using a brand new (and new-to-me) Treet blade. First time doing an all cold-water shave (not just a rinse), and actually enjoyed it. Not sure I'd love doing it if I could never do a warm water shave again, but it was fine today and I'm going to keep doing it to see if the cold water temp gets old. The Treet blade is a definite winner -- smoother than the first couple of shaves with my beloved Gem PTFEs -- now I'm curious to see how many shaves it gives.
