The new year is fast approaching, so with this in mind I'd like to hear some "Shaving Resolutions" that y'all have! Can be simple, or extraordinary! My shave resolutions are 1. More shave stick usage! They are super easy, convient, and a great value. 2. Use one razor for the entire week. I think this will help to have a much better idea of what the razor is actually capable of. A daily shave is different than 2 or 3 day growth. 3. Buy more cups to use for my shaves to aggravate Fuzzy!

Having successfully trimmed down my collection of soaps, creams and even brushes by giving razors to my staff (massive thanks to twhite and everyone who helped get me the required razors), I am now down to three soaps (Meißer Tremonia Mint Ice Menthol, Green Mountain Soap Lime-Vetiver, and Baume.be), two Frank Shaving synthetic brushes (and a handful of Thäter showpieces for my cabinet), and two razors (a Pushbutton for everyday use, and a Schick Adjustable for travel - plus *harrumph* a few *harrumph* showpieces for the aforementioned cabinet). I think I've reached a point in my shaving life where there is no room for improvement any more. I want to keep it that way.

I resolved last year to try a single edge razor for the first time ever and here I am now almost exclusively using single edge razors
1) 2019 - trim down less used unmentionable collection - make room for more single edge razors !
2) get a vintage lather catcher !
3) create a signature Williams Wednesday setup !
4) convert more people across the street to discover the joy of single edge razors !

Sounds Great!....So whats you got in dat cabinet? Inquiring eyes want to see!...lol! Nothing much, really. A few of my favourite unmentionable razors( OS was here) (left), mostly 8/8 #14 blades, and a few custom made razors from Solingen in ivory scales. A few bespoke Thäter brushes, and an assortment of Single Edge razors. Oh, and a few lathercatchers plus an Allegro stropper for their blades. Fuzzy was here...picture was eaten by pacman...

1. Acquire more SE razors (vintage or new)
2. Give new artisans a shot in 2019
3. Give more ol' faithful soaps a shot in 2019.
4. Work, work, work on technique (1 year and change in wetshaving hobby)

Acquire my second injector and/or my first SE, and at least one more soap or cream that isn't available locally (Cella and Stirling are on my short list). Use a brush and actual lathering soaps/creams more often.
