I saw this at the local Walmart and thought, "Why not"? Purchased it and used it all last week, except for Williams Wednesday, and felt I should share my feelings about it. I'm going to use Yehuda D's (from TSD) format cuz it's a good one.
Ease of lathering - 10/10, it just explodes into a nice creamy lather. The instructions say use hands or brush. I
found using the brush rewarding, easy and got a great lather from it
Longevity of lather - 10/10, lathered and left it on my face to see how long it would last and it was a
lllooonnnggg time. More than enough time to lather up, walk around the house while and then
get to your shave
General Skincare - 9/10, plenty of cushion and glide and left my face feeling soft, supple and well cared for
Scent - 5/10, very mild but pleasant. So mild to my old nose that I'm not sure what it's supposed to be. That's
not the most important thing to me though, performance is and it delivers in that
Price - under $6.00 at my local Walmart
Buy again? - Yes indeed but won't be for awhile since the container is 6 ounces and will take a long time to use
up
There ya go folks. Just remember that in shaving, it's a YMMV thing. I like this cream and feel that Gillette got this one right.

I will check my local stores and see if they have it. I suspect they will. College town and all, they seem to get new stock in if the other stuff doesn't sell.

Jim, it actually suprised me with it's performance. I also liked the scent. I'd use it over Cremo, truth be told.

Used it again this morning, 0 complaints in the performance Dept. It has a great scent and can be used with minimum water or almost drowned out. Back to the scent, it is barely noticeable at first, but the longer it stays on, the better and more pronounced it becomes. When paired with stringer scented A/S or cologne it would match nicely.
Of course, I solely face lather, and just a couple dime sized dots on the cheeks and neck are good enough for a 3 pass shave. Of course amount applied is always YMMV. All in all, politics aside, based solely on the general categories that we all use to see if something is good or bad, I'd buy it again, and I plan to keep using it. Heck, may even buy another one just to make sure I have it on hand for whatever may occur.

Not that happy with Gillette with there current ad campaigne. I am sure to get over it soon and will try this cream.thanks for the review. I fired Gillette when becoming a wetshaver. They are the whole reason I did go that way. Greed will not be rewarded by me. Then with that man hating ad, I vowed to never buy their products again. Only the vintage razors.

A man has to stand on his principles. I can respect that, and won't give you an argument there. I have no dog in this fight, other than to say that politics aside, I find the cream to be a solid performer.

Gillette is a puzzle. Their AOS line of fragrances are for the most part not bad, but overpriced. They are definitely a bit on the greedy side. If they ever re-introduce their vintage razor line, they’ll make a fortune price gouging unsuspecting victims.
