Friday 22nd February Yaqi Moka Express - Haslinger Honig - Valet VC1 - GEM SSC Despined #1 - Alum - Rose of Bulgaria A/S - Gillette Pro 3in1 Balm Wish I'd got one of these razors earlier. Nicely balanced and very easy to find the sweet spot. What a lovely close result.

For the last 2 days as soon as I woke up I had to rush to work. Called in with no notice. Because of that I have not shaved in a few days. I had to fix that tonight. Broke out my travel kit and took a 15min bathroom break. Great shave came around! I gotta remember to pack witch hazel. Gem Jr 1912 (G3) Treet Williams Omega travel brush Aqua Velva Ice Blue. There is a video. I will upload when I get on wifi!! SCHWEEEET!!

February 22ndIt took some will-power, but I finally put down my Gem Jr. Bar so that I could try out another acquisition: the Gem Featherweight. I was thinking the Jr. Bar was mild, but now the FW is the mildest SE I've used to date....I imagine that will change when I pick up my Push Button and then the Contour. I got a darn fine shave after 2 passes and a heavy touch-up (aka 3rd pass). I'll be hanging with the FW for the next week, and we're off to a great start! I've also completed my Green Mountain Soap review with the details here.
GEM Featherweight | GEM SS/PTFE (2) | Yaqi 24mm Moka Express | Green Mountain Soap (Balsam Spice) | Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum

Fri 22nd Feb. RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Citra Royale ATT SE1 / Winddrose Handle Schick Proline [ 12 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion Did A back to Back Shave with the ATT SE1, because I had such good Shave with it yesterday. Also, I was interested to see how well the blade would perform on its 12th use. I am quite astounded at the quality of the Shave, again very smooth and comfortable with a close all round finish. It would seem that the Proline is the blade to go for me in the ATT, but I must again try a Feather Pro.

Sat 23rd Dec. Jayaruh No67 Syn. Tabac Soap King Cobra Kai Captain Mild Pink [ 4 ] Tabac A/S Lotion I am still getting to grips with the KC, which felt very light after the ATT SE1 used yesterday. I felt more at ease using it and the Shave was smooth and comfortable, got a weeper by being overzealous working AGT, but pleased with the quality of finish achieved. Will after a few more Shaves try a Proline.

SE Sunday's ShaveCold Water Wash Col. Conk Bay Rum Jayaruh #339 Boar 1907 Gem Jr. Vintage Gem Cutlery CWR Lucky Tiger My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #339 Boar brush. I did two passes with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sunday 24th February Yaqi Aluminium Tux - Lea Classic Cream - Valet VC1 - GEM SSC #2 - Alum - Electrif's Lementhol A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream I love the slow release of menthol of the Lea cream. It made for a very refreshing result with the super efficient Valet. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend.
