I had a user grade Enders razor and was wondering how it was attached to the handle. Then, my need to know took over. I got out my Dremel and separated the handle from the head. _ I then got busy and fashioned a handle from some walnut I had on hand. Here it is dry fitted to the head. I carved some grips on the sides. Then I put a coat of polycrylic on the handle. The picture is before the polycrylic. After two coats of polycrylic: dry fitting. I attached the handle to the head with epoxy. You can see the whole story on my blog: jrshaving.blogspot.com/2019/04/wooden-handle-for-enders-speed-shaver.html

You didn't have to destroy the handle to see how it works. You could have looked at the patent Very nice job though!

It was not a great help since it was the 1930 one. This handle interfaces a bit differently form the earlier Enders. I love your collection of patents. razors.click/patents/US1791553/

Amazing. If I attempted that I'd end up with a crappy razor on the end of a broken stick. You are a craftsman.

Looks great, Jim! Does the new handle make the razor speedier?

Looks great, Jim! Does the new handle make the razor speedier? No, but it is just as speedy.

It needs go-faster stripes.

That's what they call them elsewhere... I like the slightly disrespectful British phrase.
