Thanks to my friend Gian Paolo (GPC@ilRasoio), yesterday I had this razor to test. Today first contact with RazoRock Eco (Single Edge Half DE, SHaDE). Two details have left me puzzled: 1. the blade support pins are thin, to use a marked euphemism 2. the crackling sound of the Derby Professional Half Blade in this razor is a whole program With good software help, I took home a nearly BBS in two passes. Friendship is a two-way journey, a contract that is renegotiated daily. I hope for a brighter future ...

I am going to have crow for dinner tonight!! I had a preconceived notion that all these new fangled SE razors were not for me----I thought the razor had to be at least 50 years old for me. I also grow heirloom seeds in my garden for the most part, only a few hybrids. My Razorock ECO proved me to be very wrong.. As a person who doesn't accept change very well, this admission of snubbery is tough on me. Could I be wrong on other stances, very very probable!! I wasn't a hater as I never even thought about trying any. The ECO is a great shaver and will allow me to use up hundreds of DE blades in my cabinet. My thanks to the Italian Barber and Joe!!! The ECO may become the CEO of my shave den!! I hope other doubters may try new things as well(not just only razors and shaving gear) as your suspensions may be right-or wrong as mine was---only by trying will you ever really know! I'm thinking sweet taters will be good with crow!

I see no reason to reinvent the wheel. Glad you are liking the shaves!!

Today, day 2 of this test / experiment. imgur.com/h3UnooBThanks to a good software combo, I've a little better comfort. Phoenix Shaving Formula CK-6 and Star Jelly are nice. The RazoRock Eco (SHaDE) sang for me again. Since yesterday I also had too much effectiveness in two steps, today I tried one. The usual technique I use when I'm in a hurry with very efficient razors ... adapted to this treacherous hybrid. Variable ATG makes the blade a true speaker. I literally feel every hair cut, both on the skin and in the ears. I stop far from the BBS, at the end of the One Pass Shave I already start to feel the skin pull. The only positive factor ... I did not pay for this second experiment with blood, unlike the first. An administrative victory ... but always better than a Pirro one.

Ok, I'm done. theoriginalsafety2.com/post/71482/threadThis RasoRock Eco is NOT for me. The blade is not clamped, chattering is huge, the sound is a scream. THIS IS NOT A SE EXPERIENCE.I love SE, and this RR Eco is far away to be similar. Just a marketing operation ... against a nice shaver as RR Hawk V2.

The best feature of this razor IMO is the ability to shave at a super shallow angle letting the blade cut the whiskers with no scraping of the skin. This is also a very loud razor and shaving with it is like buttering toast! Many razors allow a very shallow angle,... I hate a razor with a big bulbous head.

We just got wchnu on the internet a few years ago. Takes him a while to warm up to new stuff. Matter of fact, I think his new truck even has a tape player in it. Much better than the 8 tracks huh? So what's wrong with just a plain AM radio? Or none at all, I like to hear the world around me.

What is kind of funny is we've come full circle on starting. I remember a push button start on my grandfather's grain truck. My wife's car has that now. Of course the grain truck didn't have the 8 way power seats Also I think it's dangerous now that the dimmer switch is on the column rather than the floor. I've come close to getting my show caught in the steering wheel a number of times. "Show"?

It is VERY light (1.7 oz.) ... Almost four time the weight of my lightest shaver, that is a winner. Bic?
