I found this pair in the wild today. They guy said they were his dad's. It is the first Enders I have run across in the wild. I will get it cleaned up for service. The cup was a bonus.

Picked up 3 razors yesterday. 2 unmentionables and a flat top Dammy and a pack of Old Micronatic blades for $20. And a super cool craftsman vise model 5196 made in March of 1950.

Here is a picture of the vise. It is a 4”jaw width. Now compare to my other Craftsman 3-1/2” model 506-81000 So much more stout. I will be rehabbing both of these very soon.

I love old vises. I have a soft spot for older Craftsman tools. They are not the Pinacle of tools. But for the money they were really good. They wanted $75 for the vise. That is towards the top of prices for one in that condition. I talked them down to $40. As it is missing the correct tightening but for the swivel base. ( I will make a replacement so no problems. I also showed them that there was a full 2 turns before the jaw started moving. This too is corrected by adjusting a coller. It really helped that it was the last day for the Estate sale and they were only going to be selling for another 30 minutes.

MAN I see Tom scoring these vices, and it's made me think....
I used to cherish my old vices...but it seems as I've matured, I don't still have them... Hmmm, Lets see, Excessive drinking, No... gambling, No, Cigarettes, No...Sugar, No..A pot of coffee before getting out of bed, No...the Horses, No..., the Dog Track, No....Over Eating, Can't Anymore....Lets see, hmm, No....No...another No....
Man....I seem to be flat running out of Vices!!🤣😜😳

Today’s score. 5 razors $20. 2 unmentionables. They all cleaned up nicely. The E2 is the early open model.
