Fri 23rd Aug. Omega 11126 boar Cyril Salter Solid soap PAL Injectomatic Schick Proline [ 7 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion As Shaves go this one was rather disappointing, as from the off it was obvious that the blade was not performng as expected. The resultant finish was below par.

Today I used my lather catcher with repaired hinge. I believe it's a 1901 or 02 model with blade stops. I also reset the knot in my travel brush and used it fo r the first time in this shave. Jb weld marine was used on both razor and brush and it held up well. I used a gem blue star blade, crown king scuttle, west coast shaving pear brr shop soap and after shave. Slick lather with nice menthol. First time using a lather catcher but has almost no blood and zero irritation. Most of the face was bbs. Btw the razor handle had very nice grip with it's star pattern.

Sat 24th August. Vulfix 404 -mixed, "The Grosvenor" Vitos Super Red PAL Injectomatic Schick S/S Single- Japan [ 5 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion Had a poor Shave with a PAL yesterday as the blade had failed, and to make amends I used another PAL with a fresher blade. This was more like it, smooth and comfortable with a quality finish that I would expect with a PAL.

SE Sunday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Palmolive Shaving Cream Jayaruh #206 J.A. Henckels J.A. Henckels Wedge CWR English Leather AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Palmolive Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Lather Catcher razor with a J.A. Henckels Wedge Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Another fine Sunday Shave Razor - One Blade Blade - Feather FHS-10 (kind of goes without saying) Soap - Zartgefuhl - I believe it's actually the regular, not Prinz charming, they put the wrong lid on it by the appearance of the soap. Brush - Bevel Pure badger AS - La Toja

Home after three days on the road. Enjoyed the Barbershop sample, first time using the scent. Brush is by Rich Hansen and the Clog Pruf is spectacular as always.

Today I had my 3rd shave with my new...Brand Spanking New, I2 Hydro-zilla. This was one of those "Best Shaves of Your Life" type moments...Heres how it went down... First, I replaced the Proline B-20 I put in there for the maiden voyage a couple days ago, with a new Chick Blade. Then scrape a wet arko stick around my whiskers for about 30 secs. Hit it with a wet small travel Badger. The usual arko lather explosion followed. Now this NOS Hydro, had the original instructions with it. One thing they said was, "No need to stretch your skin with this razor!" Sooo, I didn't...I just started a normal WTG pass with NO STETCHING. First thing I noticed was that feeling that there is NO BLADE in the razor. Actually I like to feel the blade edge thing...But with this set-up there was none of that...But there was plenty of audio feedback. So I knew whiskers were getting cut. In fact, after that one very fast WTG pass I was the recipiant of a Great DFS! Could have stopped right there and have been perfectly happy. But of course I didn't want to. This was a Great feeling shave and a good time, sooo... Relathered, and one very fast ATG pass, and I'm BBS...and feeling in Love, 🤩👍 Then I splashed with the Clubman's Musk and did a touch of the Pat'd Fuzzy W-H TOUCH UP, with the Clubmans instead of W-H. Now my face is as Shiney a BBS as I've ever had. Now a quick splash of Skin Bracer, and I'm off to play the Grand Piano!! I feel like I'm in danger of being ticketed for "Excessive Public Face-terbation" today...I need to be carefull.. Merry Shaving to all...And to all a Great Week!!
