... print the top cap at 102%. Can this prevent the crack issue above?

I'd think so.
The 100% parts needed lots of sanding and very in the end a really snug fit. Read just barely movable.
The 102% cap on the 100% base was fitting but not too loosely.
Keep im mind though that this is only my experience printing them myself with a really cheap entry level 3d printer, the profesionally done parts could be different.

The 102% cap on the 100% base was fitting but not too loosely. I have only one doubt: the tracks. The previous version (formally 2.2 Green ASA, here in SOTD) already has a consistent hold and the sliding is not light. Without modifying that detail in the base, increasing the thickness also of the "wings" even slightly does not create more effort? If you go to break those ... it is practically impossible to repair.

Good question. As stated above, when printed with my Ender 2 the 102% Cap fits the 100% base much better than the 100% cap. To find out what is going on I'd have to measure all parts and compare to the .stl Call me lazy, but I think with regards of how much work this would be I choose to stay ignorant. Perhaps my comment still helps if someone else later prints an TNNSER and has lots of sanding to perform to get the parts to fit together. Printing a top cap takes about an hour and you can do something else while it's printing. HTH godek

My son's been busy with his Ender's printer. This blue version shaves pretty good as well.

My son's been busy with his Ender's printer. This blue version shaves pretty good as well. Did you have to do much to finish it? It needed some work with mini files and various grades of wet n dry to get the head parts and handle to fit. The most time was spent getting the head to accept the blade without it catching on the blade edge. It was definitely a learning curve, as I got better with practice.

Today's TNNSER 3D shave. Great razor even with a 7th use Gem SS PTFE. Some razors barely get me the 5th pr 6th shave out of a blade. I paired it with an unmentionable and the TNNSER shaved much smoother. Mer Shavings Mysore Sandalwood on two band badger is always a good choice.

Thank you jayaruh It's a great razor. I really like the look of the transparent ones. And I'll say it again a translucent/transparent amber one would look spectacular.

That blue and that orange TNNSER look great. Thanks Jim. I continue to be amazed at how a roll of printer filament can be transfigured into this amazing razor. My shave today was exceptional.
