First contact with the TNNSER3D V2 Tannhäuser 2.2 Green ASA 3Dprint. theoriginalsafety2.com/thread/3797/october-hauls?page=1&scrollTo=71818theoriginalsafety2.com/thread/3800/sotd-7-oct-13-2019?page=1&scrollTo=71833Very well done. The couplings are perfect and the general feeling is solid. Despite the ultra-light weight of 19g armed. The 105mm length and the sinuous handle of the Single Edge world is a real joy. Both for the eyes and in the hand. The blade is firmly tightened. So much so that at the first use I had difficulty opening the sliding mechanism. But with a little practice it is not difficult ... just not exactly intuitive, if not uncomfortable. The crushed head is incredibly easy. Although the GEM type SE blade is not so small. Gap and blade exposure are considerable, for the category. And the weight so small imposes a certain learning curve. Today the first experience was not idyllic, but only due to my lack of experience. The cutting angle is different from any other similar razor, and the need to give action to the head has highlighted this lack. And also because the stainless blades (despite that thin layer of PTFE teflon) are not exactly ideal for me. But having understood why ... tomorrow I hope to find out how to get the perfect shave that this tool can give. In summary, to start I am very happy with this new toy. A gem ... of emerald !!!

First shave with the TNNSER 3D. Even with 2 days growth it was an easy shave. Not BBS, but it usually takes me a shave or 3 to get things right. And it even came is a special case! Thanks jayaruh for coordinating the sale.

I've played with adjusting the blade exposure (sliding the top back and forth). I'm also working on angle. I like it so far!

I am BBS over about 90% of my face. This was my first outing with the TNNSER, I was a bit too free wheeling with the razor. It didn't seem to be as efficient as it is. I typically go WTG and ATG and then a couple touch ups. This being so light, I probably used a bit more pressure than I needed to and I surely went faster than I should have, so ended up with a couple of weepers. I really like it and think it will only improve. One of my more efficient razors to be sure and I did not sense that as I was using it.
I used a carbon steel blade from CVS which I like a lot. To me they are super smooth.

Carbon for me also. CVS will be my go to now that my local small Druggist quit carrying Gems CS

Shave #2 with the black TNNSER... And loving it. I loaned out the green one to one of my buddies and he said he's keeping it lol.

It will however slightly change the exposure if you ride the cap. If you slide it back more than designed. It could up the aggression a bit. Something to experiment with.

I do not see where sliding the top really does anything. it does not move the blade relative to the guard bar does it? It wasn't my idea, I thought I read it here. But, then I could just be confused. If the designer says "don't mess with the cap", then I won't mess with the cap. No shave today, so we'll let it attack two day's growth again tomorrow. Staycations are so easy on the face...

Ohhh rose os a favorite of mine. I have stirling..soap commander..TOoBS..and ummm Trumper cream I think. Rose of Bulgaria is awesome too. I have been told the Luxury was rose scented. I have never found a cake that still had the scent. Thanks for the info -- the Brits seem to consistently have a soap/cream with Rose (both TOBS and Trumper); but both Stirling and Soap Commander appear to be out-of-stock. It seems to me the Brits aren't afraid of flowery scents for men, whereas Americans tend to think flowery is for the ladies. I personally like, rose, lilac and my favorite, lavender scents. I don't think they are womanly or whatever, I just think they smell nice and they aren't over powering either which is nice. Maybe for me it comes from my grandmother and mom both having lilacs and roses. The lavender though is just something I discovered on my own.

After last night's shave, I thought it was a nice touch to print the name of the razor on the handle, but it was hardly noticeable. I solved that issue: Very nice touch. I like the color combination.
