That brush would be great with a rose scent soap or cream... I agree -- and I like a rose scent in general, but there doesn't appear to be a lot of it out there. I think I've heard that really vintage Williams was rose-scented; but I've also heard that the scent doesn't usually make it through the years. Actually if you haven't tried it yet Cyril R. Salter makes a wonderful Wild Rose shave cream. It has a good strong scent. Lathers quite well and has good cushion and slickness.

I posted this in the SOTD thread but figured it would fit well here to. Ok today's shave pitted the Mighty Micromatic OC Bumpless version against the newcomer the TNNSER 3D in a knock down drag down match. Both razors against each other, and 6 days growth. The razors shared a new Gem SS PTFE blade. The padding was provided by Mer Shavings Fougere Orange Dunkys Milk soap on Two Band Badger. Proraso white pre shave balm prepared the ring. The TNNSER 3D took the first single stroke pass then the MMOC. And the winner is the TNNSER 3D with a cleaner pass and no nick. Either way I still like the MMOC but the TNNSER 3D is a truly impressive razor. I did the rest of the first pass with the MMOC so it wouldn't feel bad but finished things off with the TNNSER 3D. This razor for me shaves great shallow or steep and doesn't make me pay on blood if I get a bit heavy handed, even on the more sensitive spots on my neck.

As a Cleveland Browns fan I'm so jealous of your orange TNNSER! A friends brother printed it for me. I gave him a list of 4 colors that were my top choices. Orange was actually top choice and I thought he was out and going with red which was my second choice. It was a surprise when I got it. Black and translucent were my other two choices.

herm2502 - I'm sorry you're a Browns fan. 🤣 But then again I'm a Pittsburgh Steelers fan as I'm from Western Pennsylvania. Neither one of us have much to celebrate this year. 😣 Josh

I forgot. Thank you so much to twhite for designing this razor, to riverrun for designing the handle to jayaruh for all your work on these razors and to everyone else that worked on the design testing and release of the 3D files. It's amazing that you guys made them available as a free download. Sorry if I missed your name. I don't know everyone yet. I look forward to getting to know all of you better through this amazing group.

I am so happy to report that the last of the TNNSERs have reached their new homes. What a project I got myself into, and then I had to go and fall off a ladder. Thanks to all for your incredible patience. I am looking forward to a TNNSER shave today myself.

A few shaves in and I have to say the TNNSER 3D is a great razor! When I first started traditional wet shaving a few years ago I was struck by the fantastic feel of a proper shave. I guess, like many, I continue to chase the great unexpected sensation of that first shave and that is why I have accumulated so many razors over the last 3 years. I experienced it with my first SE (Featherweight) shave, a few times in-between with other SEs and more recently with the Eversharp H1. Well, there it is again with the TNNSER 3D! I agree in essence that "a razor is a razor and a blade is a blade" but sometimes there is a little bit of magic! Many thanks to the shave wizards who made that happen, twhite, riverrun and jayaruh
