Is there any After Shave similar to Shulton's vintage Old Spice Lime? It's too pricey for a blind buy, but I am very much interested. If there would be anything similar in character, that is easier to acquire, and a tad less expensive, it'd be great.

May check out the Avon offerings. I'm unsure as to which scent would match it, but I know that the "Spice" scent from Avon is very close to OS so it may be worth trying.

I have no experience with the vintage stuff, but there is "Old Spice Fresh Lime" from India which I liked a lot. Can be found on eBay at reasonable prices (used to be even cheaper when I got some)

I had thought about mixing some of the old spice knockoff with some Pinauds lime sec. I might need to get back into that mood and check it out. I must add that I have not used the vintage OS you speak of.

Growing up, I always loved the Old Spice Lime AS and used it every summer. After not using it for years I got a bottle on-line 3 years ago when I could still wear AS now and then. I think it was made by Shulton, India. If I remember correctly it was pretty much like the stuff from the 70s. I liked it. I’m not sure if Old Spice in Canada makes it but I think Shulton in India still does; not sure what it costs. There are some websites that specialize in selling colognes and after shaves that are based on the old vintage scents. I’m guessing they might be very pricey also. I’m sure there’s an Avon scent that would come close but it would probably cost more than the current Shulton stuff. Fuzzy’s idea of mating Lime Sec with Old Spice might be a good idea. Now, if I could only get some Aqua Velva Redwood.
